Scale LLP, a full-service national law firm, is expanding its telecommunications and media capabilities with the addition of two new attorneys, Seth Williams and Adam Sandler. It follows the addition earlier this year of Allison Rule and Michael Donahue to Scale’s growing DC-based telecom practice.

Williams and Sandler bring decades of combined experience advising broadcasters, telecommunications companies, calling platforms, and trade associations on licensing, transfers of control, enforcement, and M&A, as well as before the FCC, Congress, and state agencies on regulatory and litigation matters.

Williams, who joins Scale as a Partner, advises clients on federal, state, and international telecommunications licensing, mergers and acquisitions, transfers of control, FCC enforcement proceedings, and telecommunications litigation. Williams previously clerked for former Acting FCC Chairwoman Mignon Clyburn and for the FCC’s Audio Division. He earned his J.D. from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law.

Sandler joins as Counsel with more than 20 years of communications and media experience in private practice and at trade associations, advising broadcasters, telecommunications companies, and associations on licensing, compliance, transactions, and legislative and regulatory advocacy. His work covers media ownership, advertising compliance, broadband, and ATSC 3.0 deployment. Sandler earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.
