Texicare, the health affiliate of Texas Mutual, today introduced TotalCare Plus, a new health plan option that gives members unlimited $0 copay visits to primary care, mental health and specialist appointments. TotalCare Plus builds on Texicare’s TotalCare plan and is available to Texas businesses with effective dates as early as Jan. 1, 2027.

TotalCare members receive four $0 visits a year in multiple care categories, giving Texicare members up to 24 no-copay visits a year. Starting in 2027, TotalCare Plus plans will feature unlimited visits to primary care, mental health and specialists—three types of care where ongoing, uninterrupted access is crucial to physical and mental wellness. A member working on their mental health with a counselor, managing a chronic condition with a specialist, or building a relationship with a primary care doctor can maintain regular appointments and focus on their holistic health.

  • $0 common labs list
  • $5 copays on more than 400 common prescriptions
  • Interest-free, flexible payment options through TempoPay

Texicare has also expanded its partnership with CirrusMD to include the company’s Virtual Primary Care offering for all Texicare members at no additional cost. In addition to accessing fast, acute care through CirrusMD, members now have the option to request the same primary care physician every time to support ongoing care and health goals. Virtual Primary Care also provides broader support across prescription refills and labs, as well as urgent, primary, preventative, dermatologic, pediatric, chronic, mental, emotional, behavioral and women’s health needs.

TotalCare Plus is available alongside Texicare’s TotalCare, SimplicityCare and SavingsCare plans.
